WOW

Post by Michael Brown » Fri Jun 16, 2017 11:59 am

I have been supply data to WOW almost since its launch, both automatically and manually. However, the last few months have proved very trying, mostly with an inability to log in to the site. My contacts with the 'Help" team have on the whole, been unsatisfactory, and currently I have been locked out for around a week.
The problem seems to be within the coding of the site, which gives the impression of being inadequate and bug ridden, somethign which should not be the case for a site which has world wide users. I wonder if anyone on here has any greater insights into the problems there, or is it simply time to give up sending data?

I have to say that I found the website very unsatisfactory from the start and stopped using it early on.

Data from sites is of very limited use as it is not quality controlled.
The website really is only for people who want to send in a photo in the hope that a weather presenter will show it on TV.
